I realized along time ago that I had to be the change that I wanted to see in the world. It's not about where you've been, but where you're going. Through my journey, God advised me that he created me for the intended purpose of helping others and directing them towards him. My purpose was to show the light of the Lord through my actions while lending my hand to those in need. I was called to be the voice for the voiceless and stand for all those individuals who are unable to stand due to life's hardships. I had to learn how to welcome and embrace change even when it was uncomfortable while also seeking the Lord through prayer, reading, worshipping, praising, and fasting. I had to praise and worship God through my storms because I knew that God would answer my prayers in time. My faith allowed me to believe in God even when I didn't believe in myself. I held on to God even when I couldn't hold on to myself. God has upkept me in my darkest hour and he is the only way and reason I am still here today. He will always be within me, and I will continue to be his living vessel to help encourage others through my words, and actions. I want that for others too. I want people to know that we all have a place in this world despite limitations, advantages, or disadvantages. You have the ability to define yourself. You can be who or what you want to be through Christ, faith and prayer. I want to help change the way people see themselves in the most positive way. I know that it's challenging to go through painful events however, I also know that God is bigger than your pain of breaking and overcoming and he's always with you. We were all created to love, help, and encourage one another while we're granted time on this earth.
